There are some pluses in the UK edition, but not buying a book printed in China is a plus for me that trumps all other differences.

Thx Lucy. I had to stop buying these books because they fall apart and hubby won't pay postage for the UK version. Though I do prefer the paper weight of the U.S version. I do wish it sewn and not simply glued. Of well, I guess we can't have everything we want v

Oh that's such a shame! Have you tried Book Depository? They charge a bit higher for the book but it's free shipping worldwide so it might be a way of getting the UK copy and it might be more affordable for you. It's such a shame that the bindings in most US colouring books are glued rather then string-bound too.

I really enjoy your comparison videos , I prefer the Uk editions of Johanna’s books , I inadvertently bought a US copy of world of flowers and had pages coming out of the book after I had coloured them , so got a Uk edition , which worked out well as I got to try different styles in my new book

Thank you so much, I'm really glad. Shame about your World of Flowers but I'm glad you managed to get a second copy to have a go at too, that's always my preference, makes me less nervous about messing up knowing I've got a back up!

same here. I don't buy the US edition anymore after both World of Flowers and Ivy and The Inky Butterfly pages came off after a few pages coloured. I prefer stitch and glue bind books even though the US paper is usually thicker.. Same goes with Kerby Rosanes's books.

I opened this video earlier, then went ahead and purchased before checking it XD I am SO glad I did watch it now though, and I definitely picked the right one! I got the UK. The binding is good, but that tiny bleeding of the pen and ink was a huge deal breaker for me! I have a Norwegian version of Enchanted Version.. wonder which it is more similar to... =P

Thank you so much for the comparison. I will order the UK version. Sadly, my Ivy and the Inky Wonderland is in multiple pieces & it makes me sad. I had wanted to complete the entire book & have it like a beautiful storybook but, after so many pages came out I lost interest. I suppose I could try to glue it back.🤷‍♀️

You're very welcome! I'm so sorry to hear about your Ivy book, that's such a shame! I know some people have finished colouring them in pieces and then either had it spiral bound back together or put it in plastic pockets in a ring binder so it can be read as a book. I hope you can find a solution because it sounds like you've worked really hard on it and it would be such a shame to not finish your project. I hope you like the UK edition of this new book!

I watched this whole video as if I wasn't waiting on the copy I ordered a week ago without knowing there's a difference
