Are these the giants from the phillipenes that get up to a pound and 7” long apiece? I was seeing $300 2male/3female breeding colonies that put out a lot more than 28 eggs. I would like to do something bout 10x this big just to have enough for a few boils. A 300$ colony meant to produce 1000s seems like a huge waste

I would love to see videos on how to raise shrimp larvae. I used to raise some seahorses and it was a VERY difficult task keeping green water, copepods, etc. available and keeping the water clean. I did this on a small scale, but would like to see how you do this? Also, when a female is ready for the brackish water, should be introduced slowly over several days to the brackish water or simply introduce her with the normal temp and small water acclimation procedures you recommend?

Yes, larvae need brackish water to survive and grow until they reach post larvae.
