Mark Bauer You can simply remove them :-) They're just a Beadlock cover, The spoked wheel you can see on the front is what's under the covers :-) So if you choose to keep them you can, Or simply remove them if wanted :-) It gives you both option's, Rather than having a Solid yellow dish wheel :-)

Yes mate. They r not to everyone’s taste. But as I showed in the video they are super easy to take off and for £8 u can put standard outer beadlocks in a colour of your choice. Looks great then and the wheel underneath is a good looking wheel too. 👍 win win really

Its seems to be almost unbeatable for the price; £750 RTR! Personally thought, I just can't get past the "futuristic" looks of the body & wing. BTW, looking fresh in those RC Maxx t-shirts.

Steve Moon hi mate. Yeah the looks r not for everyone. Im similar tbh. But I have seen this buggy with a sweet paint job / different wing and std style wheels. Looked superb. So that is fairly simple to sort. 👍👍

I was wondering. Would you consider this a TLR Losi clone or can it be seen as a original? I have heard of some that most(all) parts are interchangeable!

Martin Whitney hi mate. Good question. I was planning to do a video on that exact question but I kind of ran out of time sadly and the car has now gone back to its owner. I would say no. It’s not a clone. But some parts I do believe will fit between platforms. Chassis is different. Center section/ shocks/ Center drive shafts / brakes/ linkage/ battery trays/ servo mounts/ pipe/ engine arrangement all different. Body/ wing too, towers bumpers. Front steering setup I think would fit. As in posts and Akerman. Not sure onthe bulkheads / arms/ drive shafts/ hubs. If anything those parts might b the same but I have a feeling the 30dnb is narrower. If so shafts and arms won’t work. So after that I don’t think you can say this is a clone at all or a copy. It’s a car made on a similar idea but very different. Also the 2 cars drive very different too. 👍😀

Thanks for the info! It looks like a decent car for the money. I have been thinking of getting a second hand HPI Baya to get into 1/5 scale. But this looks like a great alternatif.

Hi mate. its a very different drive to a 2wd baja mate. definitely worth considering in my view. I go into 1/5 with a used baja though and its a good way to start. I did sell it fairly quickly though as for me it was not quite up there suspension wise and drive wise. fun though and i'd get another someday. As a starter car though this 30dnb could b superb..

JTM2007 No I sent they a few colour's to show people in a vid that they could be changed and folks have option's :-) Joel fitted them All Which is why you are confused :-) When they're bought They come with a full set of Yellow Beadlocks :-)

Are you not able to rotate the air filter up out of the way while you change the battery?

Captcasper7 hi mate. Good question. No. The filter housing ( plastic tube) is attached to the carb with a plastic adapter and held by 4 screws. I wondered the same myself so had s fiddle. To be fair it’s really easy to get the filter off , do id probably do that or just attach some pulls to the pins to make it easier.
