$30 Figure Vending Machine in Akihabara! + Evangelion Kuji!

Hey guys!
I tried the $30 (3000 yen) figure vending machine in Akihabara! It was very fun and interesting!
Found a 300 yen figure and merch gacha machine too.
It was a crazy day because I also did the latest Evangelion Kuji that same day lol

If you go to anime cons, they do have them. Book Off, if they are ever a vendor, does them. I did one in Hawaii and oh boy..... absolutely addicting. But I won a figure so it was worth

Worth it? Let's see! 300 yen gacha, spent 1500 yen Asuka clear file 200 yen at Mandarake Could not find the rubber straps, but in general they range between 200 and 400 yen. Baji acrylic stand is 600 yen at Mandarake Nobara figure 500 yen at Mandarake Total 1700 to 2100 yen Not bad! Actually a decent place if you have stuff you'd like to get. Just don't expect any top tier prizes. Won't include this in the total since it was actually good. So for the second, the 3000 yen machine, essentially anything less than a popup parade is a loss and a popup parade is just paying what it costs, but you get a random one? Spent 6000 yen Luffy 1650 yen at Mandarake Gohan 2000 yen at Mandarake Total 3650 yen Loss 2350 yen Spent on Evangelion Kuji.. (presumably) 680 yen * 25 = 17000 yen Higher prizes: Asuka 4000 yen at Mandarake Rei 2500 yen at Mandarake Kaworu 1500 yen at Mandarake Total 8000 yen Lower prizes: Clear files 200 yen each at Mandarake * 7 = 1400 yen Towels 200 yen each at Mandarake * 7 = 1400 yen Acrylic stands some 300, some 100, on average about 200 yen each, opened, at Mandarake. 5 unique, 3 duplicates so 5 * 200 = 1000 yen Total 3800 yen Total kuji: 11800 yen Loss 5200 yen Total spent on Kuji and 3k machine: 23000 yen Total loss from Kuji and 3k machine: 7550 yen Almost enough to buy the 3 kuji figures at Mandarake! That's provided you would have bought the files, towels and acrylic stands anyways. Not only would it be fun to see, but it'd make people informed about how much they stand to lose as well.

Kuji is exciting to try out for fun))) But if any prize in kuji is the goal (not the process itself), usually the choice for me is the aftermarket, tbh. It might be a bit more expensive for one item, but in the end it is usually cheaper than trying to pull the one you want, and getting unwanted stuff that takes space in the process...
