brnmcc01 looks like a porter cable or something but the torque on those brushless drills are amazing, makes putting in screws a breeze, plus much longer battery life since theres no brushes on the motor, then you could also pick up one of those battery powered brushless angle grinders.

You must have pretty good water quality where you are Steve, where I am, by the time the heater went that gate valve "might" shut, but it would break trying to reopen for sure with all the corrosion in it. Our heater installs include a new ball valve, always.

We gotta put earthquake straps here in California and we're supposed to pull a permit for w.h installs. As if the state doesn't take enough of our money. After drawing the blueprint and time at the city office it ends up costing the homeowner around $800 more.

Are dielectric unions required? Are vacume breakers required on a lower level (gas) or (electric) water heaters? And how about thermal expansion tanks? Just curious, my gas water heater has dielectric unions, no vacume breaker, and no thermal expansion tank. I was told that I am required to put in an expansion tank if I change my water heater? and what about a vacume breaker. Thanks for info. Probably another video, just to explain my questions. Take Care -Todd
@dylandouglas54666 жыл бұрын
TheHobbyShopFilms all depends on local code. Here In WI we do not need any of those things, no tanks or vacuum breakers or anything on residential. I always install dielectrics just for ease of replacement as well.
