Ok. I've watched a few of your videos now. I like your basket ideas, but it DRIVES ME NUTS how you are cutting the tops off the packaging. It would also drive me nuts to receive the gifts with the stuff cut off. It's like you are giving used gifts. It doesn't look professional like you seem to believe. To each his own, I guess.

Hi Sirena and thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it because others may also think that I am opening the packaging but I am not. I am only removing or hiding the holes or hooks at the package tops AND ONLY when I can do it without compromising the seal AND/OR the art work and lettering on the packaging. Those holes and hooks are what the retailers use to hang the products on the retail displays. If you look at professional or store bought gift baskets, the components never have those holes or hooks because they use products that are specially manufactured and packaged for making gift baskets. That is what I mean by giving a more pro look to a homemade gift basket. I don't explain that as well in the newer videos because I know a lot of people have been watching these gift videos for a long time and I don't want to keep repeating all the steps in a lot of detail but your feedback reminds me that without that detail, it may be unclear to newer viewers. I tried to get around that by making a stand alone video called "10 Secrets to Pro Gift Baskets" kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXSvpYOMo6x7bcU which explains this plus a whole lot more of the technique I use to create gift baskets but I should probably do a better job mentioning that in the newer videos. 😊💗👍
