Thank you for this. On my return trip from holiday abroad, OR Tambo was so empty. Only internation planes I saw were RwandAir, Kenyan, Lufthansa and Qatar. We flew in on Emirates. That was weeks ago and Emirates have suspended all flights to South Africa. This weekend I was in cape Town and there were all of 2 international flights: Lufthansa and Qatar. The only international planes parked there.

The SAA A340's are so beautiful!! So sad that they retired all the planes, and hope that SAA can be a great airline again, miss them!

they never retired them,of them were on lease from Airbus and were given back to them it came out in the zondo commission of all the corruption fraud taking place, the tnen SAa ceo sold out the air routes to china airways for a kickback
