Great trip! And to think that I was planning a similar adventure on a cruiser bike :D I doubt that the bike would have survived that kind of roads. But never got the chance to try it because of this pandemic.

Kudos to you, but most of all to your neck, wrists and back... it's kind of a pain listening to the clutch while you try to deal with the stones and the river crossings, but it was your choice to do such a trip with this bike and maximum respect to your choice, many riders will never make such a trip even with the most suitable bike. Cheers from Italy !!

Poor Blade, made me cringe watching you ride through that terrain, but well done. I do like the tarmac stretched though, looks like you ride for ages without ever seeing anyone else. Reminds me of early morning rides in the summer. I bet it's hard to believe it's nearly 12 months ago when this happened. Hope you're re-united with your Blade in Aus soon, although its still all looking shaky.

Another amazing video @rtw_roxy did you ever have issues with the fuel quality along your travels.
@RTWRoxy4 жыл бұрын
Didn't have any issues! I think the lowest I used was maybe 87 octane if I remember right. Most of the time 89-93, sometimes 95. This Fireblade doesn't come with the fuel filter but I cut the hose and fitted one so maybe that helped. Or the fact that it's a 21 years old bike and it knows how to run on bad fuel!

@ridicule353 жыл бұрын
No fault of the 1200GS…just rich folks that buy it, to go drink beer or stick on tarmac. Mind you the 260kg unloaded GS is no enduro or wet mud bike. It’s also not for people going off road and are short. In that respect, her sportbike was a good choice to paddle/waddle it when it gets tricky.
