@Perplexing Enigma playing in different leagues makes you the best? If so, then Zlatan is the GOAT since he's played with so many different teams.. You say Messi has had quality players? Yes he has had quality players but has cr7 not had the same if not better quality? He played with man united, arguably the best team in the EPL at that time and possibly the best team in the world filled with legends in every position. At real madrid, throughout his 9 years at the club he's played with the best midfielders, defenders goalkeeper and attackers. Whole team full of stars. Messi hasn't had quality teammates since the last 3 years which is evident. He's playing for a club that is runned by an incompetent board that has been the biggest reason for its failures. Ask any new person to watch their highlights, 99% will pick Messi as the better player. Alright, my opinion (as a barça fan) is irrelevant but the opinion of legends like Ronaldo, Lampard, Gerrard, Klopp, etc isn't and all of them have picked Messi.
