Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t full odds considered if you randomly encounter it and not when your hunting it? I could be wrong I don’t know much about shiny hunting

nah full odds means that you are not using any kind of method or shiny charm to change the shiny odds in the game 😇basically hunting raw 1/8192 or 1/4,096 depending in what game it is

I've been wondering this about random encountering shiny hunting in Pokemon. Do you turn off your game after you've done a certain amount of encounters for one day or do you put your ds in rest mode? I usually turn mine off so I'm wondering if that alright to do?

@@ShinyHaunterSJ first full odds encounter I got was shiny onix in frlg, but my first obtained full odds was the riolu egg from riley in platinum. Besides, even though totodile’s shiny is cool, there’s no doubt that chikorita is awesome. So you got really lucky there dude 😅

How is it full odds if you’re doubling or tripling your odds by increasing the number of encounters with 2 games running simultaneously or in the case of gen 5, using double encounter tall grass on one game? The title is misleading in that regard

You see thats not how odds work here, it doesnt matter how many games you use, each individual encounter is still full odds on each game every time. Full odds means you are not using any method or shiny charm to boost the odds within the games which i am not so this is all full odds indeed 😁 ever heard of horde hunting? Thats full odds as well each pokemon poppin up in a horde all roll their own full odds chance to be shiny, they dont effect each other and its the same thing when hunting on multiple games 👍

@@ShinyHaunterSJ I was thinking recently because I’m EV training in my sun and moon HC nuzlocke and I get it now. Having more than 1 game playing at the same time does not change the shiny odds but it gives you multiple chances to roll the die, so to speak. If that’s the case, then why do they do it?
