Hello friends, a reminder for anyone who is struggling with this class (like I did). This challenge isn’t about what you can or can’t do, it’s about your willingness to challenge yourself regardless of the result. I hope you feel proud of your willingness today 🙏

Thank you Charlie for your kind words, flying crow is really hard for me. It's as if the brain and the body ain't connected and the commands don't reach the legs but that won't stop me from trying. See you tomorrow for Day 27!!

26 days in and crow pose finally clicked for me! I surprised myself. I'm 40 years old and I feel like a kid now running around with a picture of myself doing it telling everyone "look what I can do."

Oh, I’m really happy for u! I’m still struggling with my crow trying to find the right place on my arms, but still cannot balance.. but ur example is the inspiration for me, may be in my 39 I can do it as well…

Flying crow was the first arm balance I tried to do with Charlie videos back in last spring, and it started a small obsession of mine! I'm still not able to do it, but I can lift my knee off either elbow and hold it in the middle for a moment! That's very serious progress from where I started:P
@Andy-il7kf10 ай бұрын
Well done!! This gives me hope :) as I really want to be able to lift a knee in crow too, and after a month it still seems impossible 😅

Flying crow is HARD. If you don’t tip over immediately that’s a goooood place to be. Past a start cuz the start would be crow and leaning to one side in my opinion,yes? Keep going. I’ve been trying to crunch my Abs and lock my shoulders without sacrificing my breathing and focus. 🧘♀️. It’s nice to know- even tho I don’t know who you are, we started last spring. Me in mid march- that I have someone out there doing this at the same time as me. I think about other people doing this, What their yoga space is like- are their kids building Thomas train tracks under them on their mats like me? lol I imagine that it’s a class sometimes when I feel like I wanna quit.

@elizabethlloyd3013 lol, no, my dogs are trying to share my mat space though!

Thanks for sharing. Likewise here...Been trying flying crow and pigeon since Charlie's Arm Balance series, and they've become a lofty goal... Getting closer on flying crow but holding only for a couple of seconds. I guess it's down to stamina now.

We've done building to crow pose a few times in this challenge and each time we've built up to it in different unique ways. I'm in awe of your creativity! And this time, I was able to brave myself in lifting up one foot at a time, even if it's only for half a second. But little by little I can feel I'm getting stronger and more confident. Thank you Charlie for a wonderful class!

unbelievably, I hardly dared dream this day would come, but I finally got crow pose. it seemed impossible when I started, I got discouraged and frustrated even at the thought of trying, but you're an amazing teacher of patience, perseverance and kindness to yourself, Charlie! thank you so so much, I'm looking forward to exploring this pose further and getting it to be stable, and maybe one day, ONE DAY, even attempting these variations.

I love the beginning 😉 idk if it was intentional but -cute. I am having one of those days you spoke about in one of your reels. The days when you show up even if you don’t want to. My wrists are extremely tender and “sticky” probably from falling on the ice a couple of days ago ? My shoulder..ouch. I started warming up finally around halfway. Fallen Star, I lifted my hips up for the first time! Idk why but it felt so awkward before. Also, why am I able to almost handstand when I know I’m jumping to malasana but when I’m going to forward fold I’m afraid to lift my hips up. Hmm. Thank you for this as always!
