Here's my autumn garden tour showing everything in 30 minutes. This has been filmed exactly 1 year after Gardeners World came to film my garden. There have been many changes and also LOTS more growth than just a couple of months ago when I last posted a garden tour.
Any questions? Please like and comment below.
Happy Gardening!

It’s looking great Kris! My highlights are the Yucca rostrata out the front, that huge Borinda papyrifer, the Pseudopanax and the Princeps but everything looks fantastic especially considering the past year. The Sikkimensis has certainly come back well! I really like the new arid layout and you can really appreciate the Jubaea, Yucca linearis and different planting style now, looking forward to seeing what you do with the far end.

Thanks George, the Borinda has really spread it's wings this year so I'll be dividing that it spring along with developing the end of the garden. Your latest video deserves the big screen so I'll be watching that after Strictly!

@@YorkshireKRIS Definitely, you’ll be able to afford your own film crew after selling divisions of that beast! I’m sure your plans will really help bring that whole end of the garden together. Haha I don’t blame you if you have to skip through most of it, nothing as cinematic as the fire pit vid, pretty much just me moaning about the plants which have either not grown well or grown too much, never happy 😂

Apparently the tree ferns from Tasmania can get up to 4 m of rain a year!... I think it might help to have a rain gauge to monitor it. In South Wales I I get 2.9 metres of rain so not enough. I have to use a mister on a timer to keep them happy .

I remember when I lived in Hull as a student and thinking, it's a heck of a lot dryer on this side of Britain.

Lots. Check your soil, your aspect, plan a design if you can and spend as much in the ground as on plants. Goodluck

Great video as usual, Kris! What did you do to protect your large Phoenix canariensis in your front garden from the cold last winter (if anything)?
@YorkshireKRIS
@YorkshireKRIS 10 ай бұрын
It didn't get any protection except before when snow was forecast where I tied up the leaves.

@@YorkshireKRIS I wasn't whinging just trying to say that wein our country might seem there is a big difference in climate between north and south, it's not really the case. Because we in South East corner are closer to the continent of Europe we do sometimes suffer their extremes. I only know this because 5 years ago I decided to take up gardening and with that tropical gardening, which is when I discovered your Chanel and actually started to think about the weather ( as well as plants). Anyway please keep your videos coming they are a massive inspiration to lots of people 👍
