What a treat watching your painting techniques. I love your contemporary backgrounds and compositional formats. I teach watercolor classes but I want to branch out into acrylics, especially using your nontoxic paints. Using your starter set, I used them with my class for a change and they loved it. Thanks for all your teaching and class varieties. Much appreciated. Bernie Dettorre

@@leishalawlor3660 Oh, I know how that feels. Sorry for you loss. I have had labs all my life. Black labs and now yellow. I had one black lab that stayed with me for 16 years. I have decided at this point in my life I need my dogs. My wife just understands when the "girls" have to go everywhere with me. If no dogs are allowed, I really don't NEED to go there...LOL. They go everywhere with me. 😊

You can do it Rosemay! This is really funny, about 10 years ago I was down in Buenos Aires teaching. While there I took a lesson from a master filete master. He told me to understand the painting of this style you must understand the "tango". I clearly saw why.

Thank you. You are like a very thick book so full of new information on every page. After about 15 years of painting with different teachers I am taking a new interesting step forwards thanks to you, and I find it pleasant to paint with Heritage acrylics. 🌈

This is lovely ,i think you said these paints can be used over oil . I have a painting in oil I would. To to check with your paints ,I often go back and re watch y ou painting your roses 🌹 as I am doing now also doing your wild roses 🥀 thay are fantastic thank wou so much and stay safe .

Yes, absolutely they can go over oil. I do it all the time. You just have to make sure the oil is cured. As the oil film cures it shrinks. The acrylics cure very quickly. So if you put Heritage on top of oils and then it shrinks it could crack the acrylics. If the oil is cured then there is no worry of cracking. It works.

Amazing....like the fast pace , the movement and those gorgeous clean colors. Mine get so messed up. Will any acrylic paints do? And is there some easy way to understand color mixing ....how do i get a precise shade?

Color theory. I have taught color theory for 35 years. It is the key to understanding and improving your art. I will never stop studying it. 😊

How are your paints different from acrylics?
@JansenArtEducation4 жыл бұрын
They are a nice quality acrylic that you can change certain working properties such as shear and drying time.
