Just came home from work...what better way to relax for a moment than with these old school NBA videos?

At around the 12:20 mark there are 2 legendary broadcast men calling the all-star game: Johnny Most for Boston and Chick Hearn for the Lakers. They both really loved their franchises and were such a big part of them, but they also respected each other and the Boston/L.A. teams. I'd like to think they're both calling games in heaven now.

Why the players didn't wear more pads back then surprises me. Also Ernie with the full head of hair!

Greg Kite and Rony Seikaly around the 7:05 mark decided to settle personal beef with each other like angry construction workers. Those two were rolling on the floor off the court into the press area. Now that's what we call top-level old-school NBA fighting.

You might want to check out 1984 Lakers at Bucks, 1989 Bucks at Lakers, and the 1984 Jeff Ruland's big day against the Celtics.

245: wait a minute. Why did this turn into a Detlef Schrempf highlight reel? You said "Heated Moments" I don't need to see how Schrempf came back, that's kinda corny and a little biased.

Todays NBA players are so SOFT!!! I miss the old NBA...no zones, no double teaming w/out the ball, the foul after the foul..Think what MJ would do in todays league
