Definitly!!! Iran and China are not so far apart and the conquest of basically all of Asia by Genghis Khan in the 13th century helped a lot in spreading chinese culture in Iran. Throughout Iranian history the various shahs stayed very much interested in acquiring chinese artefacts - jade, ceramic... - and in reinterpreting chinese motifs, such as dragons or phoenix. There are a lot of studies that underscores the influence of chinese art in the iranian world and it is so fascinating!!! One of my favourite chapters of world art history ^^

@@ShahanshahShahin Yep, since the Han dynasty expanded their commercial routes towards central Asia the links between China and Iran are strong, but the establishment of the mongolian empire facilitated even more the connection between the two cultures and chinese influences became much more present on material culture from the 13th century up to today
