Beezow Doo-Doo Zobittybip-Bop Bop Yeah the LX was faster because it was the same engine and drivetrain in a lighter package. The LX notchback was the quickest of all the body styles. That's one of the reasons they were used by police/state troopers.

I still have my '91 GT. Yeah LX's had the straight tailpipes and the GT's all had turndowns. I put the chrome covers on my turndowns to give them a better look way back in '91. Bout to do a little work to mine to get it back on the road. Been in storage since 2005 :-)

Well the Fox Body Mustangs with the stock 302 only produces around 200hp so they are slow although they are good platforms for modifications to the engine and engine swaps since you can fit a big block engine in there. Don't think your Chevy 305 is any better Chevy fanboy because the 305 is shit.
