Ami-H.E.R.O. improved visibly since its first apparition. It's always hard when porting a good game on a more powerful platform not to make it worse. It seems that Amiga H.E.R.O. is very close to convey the same feeling as the C64 version. I really like the animation of the person you save at the end of the level, raising their head and going "thank you". That's a nice addition. Maybe the water could be a bit less angular. I want to play it now.

I think I prefer the messy background grx of the c64 version, this looks to clear. Looks like it plays the same though. One thing the dev's got terribly wrong is if a light is switched off you're not supposed to be able to see anything! Yet here you can clearly see your way. This has to be fixed.

Electroman being ported to the Amiga just makes sense. That game has Eurojank platformer written all over it.

Non of them look interesting. Most amiga games back then looked good but played like ass. Amiga never had great games to be honest and i played them all

It's clear to me, most of this games are no budget games, programmed by a single person just for fun. Actualy they looks very amatorial with the graphic being smaller and simpler than real Amiga games in 1986... But, anyway, is nice to see such willing to use and enjoy Amiga, even 40 years after...

@@SettimaLegione They nail the random soundFX that do not fit with the game, very epoch accurate. I am glad people make games for the Amiga and appreciate the effort, but this time most of them are so horrible. The ports are great, if not interesting for me. Some ideas are horrible and some other are so vulgar and unpolished, they are as undesirable as a Ubislop AAA game.

If so I’ll think I pass and play the exalt Star Wars game most likely super smoother through a DOS emulator on a budget low-end 150€ mini pc / windows machine ;)

@@litjellyfish We had 040s during the Amiga commercial run or whatever (some with 4000 models didn't even need to buy an accelerator). I've had a Blizzard expansion since the mid 90s. AGA was a Commodore chipset, so AHI is the only thing here that is more recent. It's not like the emulator itself was programmed in 1994. Isn't it somewhat relative which is a more authentic experience or what have you?
