I watched Pride and Prejudice some weeks ago and I'm now obsessed with it. The diction, the formality their language possesses made me fall in love with the regency era English. No slang words, just a bunch of sarcasm which I liked very much. I can't help mimicking Darcy and Elizabeth in front of mirror. Happy that you included this one.

Great recommendations. However, the British classics list is incomplete without David Lean’s films. He was one of the best directors till date. I bet you have not only watched his films but also checked videos of Lean’s interviews. He spoke beautifully with a marvellous English accent. You could have included ‘Brief Encounter’.
