crate training might also help with separation anxiety if he's not already crate trained ? it can provide him with a cozy safe space while you're gone

Thank you for the suggestion 🙏🏽♥️. He was crate trained when he was a puppy. We stopped after he was 1 yr old. He will be 8 yrs this December. Will definitely consider it 👍🏽

Yes I give my dog treats in a puzzle ball & sometimes I add peanut butter as an extra reward. It makes the treats stay in the toy for longer & makes him work more for it. Sometimes I’ll sprinkle treats in a small hand towel, then I roll it up long ways like you would to make cinnamon rolls so it’s a long tube, then I tie it in a lose knot. It takes him a while to undo the knot but he really likes it & stays focused on it when I’m leaving the house.

For your puppy I'd also recommend getting a pet camera, I got the petcube one because it lets me talk to my cats when I am not here, they are both super anxious and nervous when I leave, so I can watch them from the app on my phone and I can also hear them and I can speak to them and they hear me. Maybe that could help when you are out and if he is barking or something you can talk to him through the camera :)

1:46 I think Chappy is smiling! He gets to go bye bye with mommy lol 😁😍🥰 If you decide to, you should be able to break your lease without any penalty because of the mold. I've been in your situation, so I know. Your apartment is cute and the purple shoe cabinet looks good with your bedspread. I hope the new air purifier and ac helps out a lot! So glad you got the air purifier! That's very thoughtful of you to bring Chappy with you when you are leaving the house, which I'm sure at times can be a little stressful. Not very many people would do that! I like "dappykeys" on KZbin, that's what I play for my cats when I am not home. It's peaceful music. There is also music for dogs/cats online. Although I have always had 2 cats so that they are not alone which helps but I am also in a house so I do not have to pay pet deposits and fees. So that option is not as easy for everyone. Your hair looks beautiful, healthy and shiny; love the curls. I also have long curly hair.

Aloha! Just curious if you've considered getting a doggy camera so you can check in on him while you're out and about? I've seen ones that allow you to talk to them and dispense treats 😅

Alohaaaa 💗 After the neighbors left the note, in order to confirm he was barking when I am not home, I got the doggy camera. The one I bought doesn’t dispense treats tho but I can talk to him. Mahalo 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I bought these interactive place mats and froze peanut butter, yogurt, etc on each square. Then when I’d leave my rescues I gave them that. I also boiled liver, smashed it up and put on a square. Hi, Tisha.... : ) For insomnia, which I went through for a long time, I went to Sage. Have you gone there? They have great sleep remedies that really help, at least for me! I used Sleep Well roll on ( lavender & valerian root ) & put that on the my wrists each nite. I also use Sweet Sheets ( I think that's the name ) that I spray on my sheets/ bedding at night...... those two things really help me! I bought both at Sage & just recently bought the Sweet Sheets spray because I use it every day & love the scent! I guess the scent of both & the better sleep just helps me to calm myself before sleep....... plus, I do deep stretching yoga before bed to help, too. Hope that could help!

Happy to hear the second date was good. You deserve some more good experiences. Sorry that your sleep has been hard. Do you think a different mattress may help? Maybe some warm milk or tea may help a little. They probably will not do anything until some kind of authority figure steps in. Even something as silly as a male. Aweee thank you Sharon ☺️. I used to do HIIT workouts with kettlebell but had to stop a year ago due to injury. I just have been walking a lot lately. That’s the only form of movement for now. I would love to go back to group workouts but haven’t yet. I would suggest to start slowly (maybe one or two days a week). I did group workouts because it kept me accountable and also didn’t have to plan out the workouts. I just had to show up to the class and do my best. Good luck going back 💪🏽👍🏽♥️
