This episode sees Dr Gavin Hughes rambling down the roads of County Armagh (on one of the hottest days of the year!) in search of surviving evidence for the 'Battle of the Diamond' on 21 September 1795; he looks at the Derryloughan crossroads, the Dan Winter's ancestral lands and, finally, sees the Sloan's House museum in Loughgall... and explains how social tension between two hostile armed groups, born out of the same roots, erupted into one of the most influential engagements on the island of Ireland...
