I've always come away from watching & Listening to Stoicism , i.e. Stoicism philosophy with a new perspective on reason, & objectivity!

I'm glad to hear that Stoicism has helped you to develop a new perspective on reason and objectivity. These are two essential qualities for living a mentally unstoppable life. Stoicism teaches us to focus on what we can control and to accept what we cannot control. It also teaches us to be rational and objective in our thinking. When we can avoid letting our emotions cloud our judgment, we are better able to make wise decisions and to deal with challenges effectively. I encourage you to continue to study and practice Stoicism. It is a powerful philosophy that can help you to live a more fulfilling and resilient life.

I'm so glad to hear that you're living by the same frame of mind as the Stoics! It's an amazing philosophy that can help us to live happier and more fulfilling lives. I understand what you mean about not having confident advice from close ones. It can be tough to find people who support our dreams and goals. But it's important to remember that we don't need their approval to be successful. All we need is to believe in ourselves and to keep moving forward. The Stoics taught us that we can control our own thoughts, feelings, and actions. We can choose to be positive and to focus on the things that are within our control. So don't give up on your dreams! Keep living by the Stoic principles and know that you are not alone. There are many people out there who are supporting you, even if you can't see them.

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZbin channel 6 months ago about self development. Now I have 347 subs and > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I couldn’t have learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Congratulations on starting your KZbin channel! It takes courage to put yourself out there, and I'm glad you're finding it rewarding. Remember that the journey is more important than the destination. Keep learning and growing, and don't compare yourself to others. The Stoics believed that we should focus on the things that are within our control, and let go of the things that are not. While you can't control how many people subscribe to your channel, you can control the quality of your content and the way you interact with your audience. Keep doing that, and you'll eventually find success.

@@SelfMasteryLabs Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say based on what you said that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my KZbin channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a KZbinr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this KZbin thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! As long as someone gains value from our art and creations, that’s really what really matters at the end of the day. This really truly makes me happy. I sincerely appreciate such kind words! When I was a kid, all I wanted was to have a career that pays well so I can buy whatever I want but now that I’m grown up and went through tons of setbacks from losing tons of people in my life, getting lost in the world with full of life traps, being ridiculed for pursuing my dreams, and so on, I can say that long-lasting happiness can’t be bought or earned because it comes from within us. Continue to grow as a person and I’m so glad that you’re part of this journey! I’m hoping to upload my next one this month, which is more than an hr long. I’ve been working hard for many months now to present it in the best way I can while keeping in mind that I can never make it perfect. I hope that you’ll enjoy it! Thanks so much for your support!

@SelfMasteryLabs
@SelfMasteryLabs Жыл бұрын
I hear you. The path of Stoicism is not easy. It requires us to challenge our own beliefs and assumptions, and to let go of our attachment to things that are outside of our control. But it is also a path of great rewards. When we learn to control our emotions, we gain freedom from suffering and become more resilient in the face of challenges. Keep going, and don't give up.

I don’t believe in forgiving everybody that is one rule I’m against. There’s too many people that are mean and do the wrong thing is no way in hell some of them deserve to be forgiven. I’m not a God where I have to forgive when I’ve been wrong. I don’t wrong. Anybody in this and I don’t go out of my way that’s just my nature I don’t do anything to anybody, but a lot of people treat me with disrespect and have mutilating mean because of their profession just so they can make big money. I don’t forgive that I’m sorry.
@SelfMasteryLabs
@SelfMasteryLabs 11 ай бұрын
I understand your frustration. It can be difficult to forgive people who have wronged us, especially if they have done so repeatedly or if their actions have caused us a lot of pain. However, forgiveness is not about forgetting what happened or excusing the other person's behavior. It is about letting go of the anger and resentment that we hold onto, and finding a way to move on with our lives. Forgiveness is important for our own mental and emotional health. When we hold onto anger and resentment, it can weigh us down and make it difficult to be happy and fulfilled. Forgiveness can also help us to build stronger relationships. When we are able to forgive others, it shows that we are willing to let go of the past and move forward.

This is interesting when controlling someone’s communications and ruining their life. I’d say pretty criminal content. But forgive them and know.
@SelfMasteryLabs
@SelfMasteryLabs Жыл бұрын
First I would like to explain that Stoicism is not about controlling or manipulating others. It is about accepting what is beyond our control and focusing on the things that we can control. Controlling someone's communications and ruining their life is not only wrong, but it is also counterproductive. When we try to control others, we are essentially giving them power over us. We are letting them dictate our emotions and our actions. This is a recipe for unhappiness and frustration. Instead of trying to control others, we should focus on controlling ourselves.

31. Don't follow or be subjected to follow by weak people who profess to be leaders but have no skills in leadership. You will see a lot of this kind of people in the corporate world.
@SelfMasteryLabs
@SelfMasteryLabs Жыл бұрын
I 💯 agree that it is important to be discerning about who we follow. There are many people in the world who profess to be leaders, but who do not have the skills or the character to be effective leaders. These people can be found in all walks of life, including the corporate world. I also believe that it is important to focus on the things that are within our control. We cannot control who our leaders are, but we can control how we respond to them. If we find ourselves following a weak leader, we can choose to distance ourselves from them and to focus on our own goals and objectives. We can also choose to speak up against weak leaders. If we see them making bad decisions or behaving unethically, we can speak out against them. This can be a difficult thing to do, but it is important to stand up for what we believe in. Ultimately, the decision of who to follow is a personal one. However, I believe that it is important to be mindful of the qualities of a good leader and to choose to follow those who are worthy of our trust and respect.

Yes, there are many similarities between Stoicism and Buddhism. Both philosophies teach us to control our emotions, live in the present moment, and accept what we cannot change. However, there are also some important differences. For example, Stoicism is more focused on logic and reason, while Buddhism is more focused on intuition and compassion. Ultimately, the best way to live is the way that brings you the most peace and happiness.

“Live in the moment” was said twice.
@SelfMasteryLabs
@SelfMasteryLabs Жыл бұрын
You're right, the phrase "live in the moment" was mentioned twice in the video. The first time, it was used to refer to the importance of being present and mindful of our thoughts and feelings. The second time, it was used to refer to the importance of accepting what is happening in the present moment, even if it is not what we want. Both of these interpretations of "live in the moment" are important aspects of Stoicism. The first interpretation helps us to avoid getting caught up in the past or the future, and to focus on the present moment where we can actually make a difference. The second interpretation helps us to accept the things that we cannot change, and to focus on the things that we can change.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost your shit. I know how it feels to lose control of your emotions. It's not a pleasant experience. But I want you to know that it's okay to make mistakes. Everyone loses their temper sometimes. The important thing is to learn from your mistakes and to try to do better next time. It's important to forgive yourself for losing your temper. Everyone makes mistakes, and it's not worth beating yourself up about it. Just learn from your mistake and move on.
