Budd Dwyer that he had lied under oath in his own 1985 trial when he denied offering Dwyer a bribe. In the documentary, he maintained that his testimony at Dwyer's 1986 trial-that he offered Dwyer a bribe and that Dwyer accepted this offer-was truthful.[". The Lie was that he DIDN'T bribe him. Smith lied in his own trial to avoid jail time, by saying no bribing happened.

I watched Dwyer's death (I think it's still up on YT somewhere) and it had to be the most horrific thing I ever watched. I can't imagine what what people felt seeing it in person and live on TV. His distress before and then the camera just staying on him as he bled out was beyond words.

Reminder with Black Bears the best thing you can do in the unlikely scenerio one is showing hunting behaviour is calmly walk away while maintaining eye contact, and using a firm voice. If that fails you need to fight back with any means available to you weather that be grabbing a rock or whatever else, Black Bears are cowardly and will usually run off if they feel you are too much trouble. Never run away from any predatory animal period. Not only will you activate their hunting instinct but you aren't gonna outrun them, humans are pretty slow compared to most animals.

We have bear locks on our trash cans and sometimes, they’ll just hang around our neighborhood looking for food, but they’re not aggressive. So with the free-diving picture, he would have set it, had he been able to speak. Something not included by Rob is that, before he died/went unconscious upon reaching the surface, he was able to give an okay symbol with his hand, but protocol says you have to also say "I am okay" which he couldn't do, meaning that he didn't officially set the record. If he had been able to say that phrase, he would have broken it. It's just a matter of protocol. He didn't die during the attempt, technically. He did his attempt, and upon finishing it, couldn't speak, and went unconscious 30 seconds later. He didn't just breach the surface and die, he was up for about 30-40 seconds before becoming unconscious. Basically, if you're setting the record, as long as you can follow protocol prior to dying, you've set it. He was just unlucky in the fact that his protocol required him to speak as well as the hand sign, otherwise he would have set it.

I am from Dayton and I was there when she crashed. If you look at the photos in detail, anything that is blue and has reflective piping… that’s her body. My husband works for the air port police department and he was dispatched out to the crash. He told me that the first thing he did getting to the site was vomit because of the horrific conditions of her remains. He’s been and officer for different departments going on 30 years now. He said this was the worst thing he had ever seen in his career.

My nieces hubby works on them. Scares the CRAP out of me. Told him that but he doesn't seem bothered. My bro went with to assist a few times and that REALLY sent me into orbit lol. He didn't go up in it tho thank God. Guess he was getting like $200 an hour or something. Yay. Still not worth it to me. I've watched an entire video thru the whole process. It made me want to vomit, no lie😳 RIP to those poor men. I even asked the guys that did the vid about safety. It wasn't particularly encouraging, but that was quite a few years back....💔

I really like the way that this video was done, Rob! You talked about difficult subjects in a respectful manner, told people ahead of time that there could be triggers and possibilities for triggering events, and then offered assistance in case someone needed it. Well done! 😊❤
