Why would you turn such a big piece of wood on such a small lathe? Obviously it is made for hobbies soft woods maybe jewelry turning, finishing thats the reason for all the small sandpaper, you cant get into the drag races with a go cart! SMH

It's wood only so wooden jewelry, never thought of that. I guess pine soft wood. Thanks for the idea.
