That is how you have to make it when you make a ton of pasta otherwise its Fucking impossible to stir in the ingredients. Depends on the dish tho, if there is only pasta and nothing else combined that you have to mix, then you do not have to break it .

If you are making big pasta dish for a lot of people and have a lot of ingredients it is almost impossible to stir when you make a bigger quantity, that is why you break them, makes it easier to stir in and add other stuff to the pasta. I am not talking about just pasta and water.

Being a chef and watching this and listening to the comments in this video nearly killed me. Please please PLEASE do not take any of this as good cooking advice. Soda mentions the fact that it's not chicken so it's safe is completely false. It's beef mince which basically means you have mixed the outside bacteria on steaks (that you would normally seal at a high temp and kill) into the middle. Cook the mince properly!!!! PEOPLE HAVE DIED FROM THIS!?!?!
