@TheIDCh3 жыл бұрын
@@2Sylphida russian mentality to find depressing things funny or at least entertaining. Also forced humbleness to seek acceptance and recognition. Example from more western people: "Oh I look so bad today, lol (while she looks 100% good, just trying to seek attention)" The music playing in the background basically "russian doomer music" as it can be called today. At the times this music was popular in the "revolutionary spirited" youth, but all young guys and gals were doing - drinking beer, smoking cigarettes and having some kind of alt appearance. Most of music of this musician is nowhere near positive thinking. I assume you can even see it like some kind of russian Joy Division thingy... And you see, this kind of music was popular in the intelligent alt youth. The other alternatives were pop-music-shit, "bandits" music about jails and how life is tought after serving their time, aaaaand western music, which was more positive thinking. All in all, why am I telling all of this. You see, in russia depression is kind of constant state of mind lol. Most positive thinking was influenced by the west. Russians are living hard lifes, embracing it and have somewhat fatalistic mindset. The farther from Moscow - the more "russian" people become :) This artists representation of characters, almost never smiling despite the fact of having PC, art talent, childhood without hunger etc, depicts russia way too well. I hope I helped you at least a little to understand russian mentality and why "30 years wasted". "Uhh guys, 30 years wasted, see how bad I am - *throws top notch animation in the face*" :D

@Bruh Because he was very controversial for quite some time.
I don't bother commenting on much on the internet anymore, because very little moves me anymore, and I don't generally "hit the like" button because it is otherwise empty. I liked, and commented, on this amazing video because for the first time in a long time an artist, the internet, and luck combined to show me something that was vividly encapsulating, totally relatable, and surprisingly humorous. Plus, as fate would have it, I've been reliving the last 30 years of my own life trapped in what feels like a single room. So, thanks for the realness.
@MeadeJ675 ай бұрын
Hitting the like button isn't empty, it helps the creator immensely because it helps push the video to more people through the algorithm. Same with commenting. They don't ask for fun or to be annoying, it genuinely helps them while costing you nothing but a minor mouse movement & a click. & no, I'm not a creator, I just appreciate them providing me with endless entertainment, so I try to help out.

If you live in the US, there are places where they pay you to move in and live in a place for a while. There are super easy jobs that you can do in europe as berry pickers or kiwi picker in new zealand. Just save some money and develop the skills of investing. Buying cheap lands all over the world and selling them. Or building cheap rental houses and renting them to poor people. You'll have steady passive income while being able to help others.

I don't think he is talking about what he has achieved here, like he may have graduated and gotten skills which average people don't have but he feels as if he wasted 30 years of his life for not doing what he wanted to do. I may only be interpreting this in my own way but there are different interpretations of this. And this is something that I feel as if I can relate to because everyone is always telling you to go to college and become successful but that is the least true, you graduate from college and then what? you go work as a civil servant from 9-5 just to make 100K-500k a year while others are making that amount within a month or two. I am still in college but something in my heart just feels as if I am wasting my time doing something that I may not really want to do. Then in college you have to deal with staff that are too prideful for their own good and they try to make you think that you might not belong to that college even though they quite literally just met you 5 minutes ago. Education is great and all but it is something that can be acquired from books as well, people should explore more of themselves than let society manufacture them.
