Thanks! Yeah, I was just hoping to pop out a normal haul type thing in hopes that people saw just what you did. I appreciate you watching, thank you. :) I do love that Nike jersey.. haha.

I live near a great thrift shop divided into 10 big rooms.Beautiful suits pants dresses etc mostly designer. All clothes are $1. an item. Coats and jackets may be 5 to 10 bucks and all the dishes and cookware and such you take to the counter and they say what do you think 1 dollar maybe.50 cents? No prices you haggle till you agree. I LOVE IT!

Hey mate. I'm into scrapping more than reselling, but I wish to let you know that I find your videos really entertaining and informative. Keep on kicking goals and keep up the great work.

Great video. I really appreciate that you broke it down into what your final profit might be. Really helps to get an idea of how much stuff I need to pick to get where I want to be.
@mrsmjackson111 жыл бұрын
A very good reality check. Thank you for making the picking experience more familiar? Alot of times when I shop I feel discouraged. Like I really need to learn what to pick. Even if I have a bag full of 'low' profit items as you pointed out. Seeing our haul, helped me get more comfortable with my finds. Bread and butter is good, and the higher profit items are a bonus. Not that that was your message, just sayin... that Nike orange fit dry is neat, I have good luck with them. TY

Whats getting me is the people at goodwill pricing things at ebay prices lately, not selling price listing prices. lol.

i really like the fact that your not trowing out random numbers sounding like storage wars with inflated sell prices or aka wish prfofits. some folks do that

When you sell a hat, how do you mail it to your customer? Do you use a bubble mailer or a box? Perhaps you could do a video on how to photograph and mail a hat. Thanks for all of the great info you provide us!
@ResaleRenegade11 жыл бұрын
Based on how much I make in each venue and how much of a pain in the butt it is to self-fulfill. I prefer to merch-fulfill because I get happier customers. But it's not logistically sound to do everything, so I pick items that I don't think FBA will screw up. :) Hope that helps!
@ResaleRenegade11 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Yeah, me too! Though, they're not all going to be 15 minute videos, that's for damn sure.. haha. This sucker ate up like 7 hours of my time after the editing, adding, subtracting, carrying 1's and all that mess..! Thank you for watching!
@ResaleRenegade11 жыл бұрын
I toss them over a beenie that I've stuffed with packing paper to make the shape of a head.. haha.. I don't generally buy wrinkled hats.. they're an item that I only buy if they're little work. I store them like most hats are stored (folded into themselves), and I wash them in a dish washer on the top rack unless they have stickers/tags.

I choose based on if the product is new and has a good listing on Amazon already or not. I also look at what the item sells for on both and generally go with the one that generally sells higher. I source all my stuff from various locations, this video was mostly Goodwill and some other thrift stores. Thanks for watching!

I liked your video. I am trying to figure out how to go about getting started selling on amazon with the goodwill/retail arbitrage business model. Should I start by setting up a seller account but not a web store? And should I just start going to my local goodwill stores and also looking for clearance items at Big lots, Ollie's, Target, Walmart, etc. ?? I checked out Profit bandit and it looks like I need a seller account or web store to use it??? I really want to do this because I am a stay at home mom. Your advice is appreciated :)

I sell almost everything buy it now if I'm using eBay. Rarely do I use auction anymore unless the item is a wild card and u just have no idea what it's going to go for.

@sarahstratton211310 жыл бұрын
So you "made" about $294 but how much did you have to spend to make that?? You said you didn't add it up but approximately how much was it? Also how long does it take to sell these items on average?
@colust11 жыл бұрын
Hi, do you ever find any luxury branded items you haven't heard of before. I found a "Philip Daniels" jacket. It looked stunning but was $25. I have Googled a number of times but cant find anything on this brand. It could have been worth $1 or a $1000
@RonThompson11 жыл бұрын
I noticed you said FBA on some stuff and merchant fullfilled or others. How do you decide which?
@ResaleRenegade11 жыл бұрын
Well, you should have stuff up there that has plenty of room to pay $0.30 per month several times over... Don't let the monthly bill scare you as long as you're in the profit and selling items. You should be figuring those expenses into your items when figuring out how much to pay for something. My eBay and Amazon fees would scare the bejeezus out of you, but I make profit even after paying them, so it's worth the spend to sell my stuff quickly. Thanks for watching!

300 net profit would end up around 100 after all the bs fees & taxes, which is little better than a minimum wage job. The whole idea behide theses selling platform is to hire many people as possible to sell as many as possible and pay them as less as possible. Though it's a bad part time job.
@thememelife569 жыл бұрын
I bet hes already taking that into consideration. But lets say he werent... 32$ ebay and paypal fee. Shipping &handling is paid by buyer. Unless youre purchasing directly from a manafacture or whole sale you will definitely need to charge for taxes. In this case, hes already paying taxes on the items when he purchases them. 268$ is a decent profit that can easily build.
@thememelife569 жыл бұрын
Rchill correction, instead of wholesale I meant liquidators.
@ResaleRenegade11 жыл бұрын
Some items I make more selling as FBA, others I make more when I fulfill myself. Profit Bandit breaks it down to which is more profitable taking into consideration how much it costs to ship in, pick and pack fees, and what other FBA sellers are selling for. A lot of the time I'll send it to FBA if it's the same profit too though. I'd rather not do the work if I'm gonna make the same amount. Thanks for watching!
