This was such a sad loss - a beautiful and talented woman with the most beautiful singing voice I have ever heard. It seems like she was so worried about pleasing everyone and felt she had to have a perfect body that she developed some very unhealthy eating habits and took large doses of medications she thought would curb her appetite and keep her thin. Unfortunately she did this to such an extreme that she had a heart attack and died. RIP Ms. Carpenter - you left us much too soon and left a beautiful catalog of songs featuring your incredible voice.

So many suicides and drug overdoses. The Entertainment Industry is a brutal and heartless business. You can shoot to stardom at an early age and then before you know it you’re a has-been and basically unemployable. It’s like the title of the Janet Jackson song “What Have You Done for Me Lately?”. I suspect some of the drug overdoses were either suicides or a particular Entertainer’s way of trying to cope with the pressures of fame. There has been much debate as to whether Marilyn Monroe’s death was suicide or an accidental drug overdose - my own personal belief is that it was accidental although a case can easily be made that it was intentional. Whichever one it was it was a sad loss - MM was a very troubled woman - some people thought she was bipolar - and had a very unstable childhood. RIP to her and the other Entertainers on this list 😥

There seems to be something fundamentally wrong with the entertainment industry and particularly the music scene. The number of rappers who were murdered, is too great to be coincidental. There is something wrong with rapping. Should avoid it. I also wonder what kind of troubles lead people to take their lives. I know for certain that I will never do that, because I am a muslim and I look to God for Help when the chips are down. Also as a muslim, I believe that all of life exxperiences are a test and a trial.
