If you don't attach a coral to a rock and just let it sit on the bottom glass, will it still grow in a normal speed or will it get stagnated being moved around every couple of days by the fishes and snails (I'm talking about Monti and Stylo)

I havent noticed any difference in growth as long as it doesnt get bumped into a coral that causes damage or stress.
