If I had to choose a favorite drink it would be a fine cognac. I'm not sure if the price is justified by overhead or if the drink is actually hard to produce, but people who drink it are people who can afford it. I have a prized bottle of Remy Napoleon from the 1980's. I sip it from time to time with family

750ml bottle of Louis XIII retails for around $4000. There are roughly 16 shots per bottle, that comes out to $4800. Now, a bar probably isn't paying $4k for a bottle, but that doesn't mean much when you're talking about ultra high end liquor. If it were something like Remy, I'd probably pour him another and write it up on the spill sheet. He'd be SOL for something as high end as Louis XIII.
