300 Thousand More Men to the Front. Russia Continues Mobilisation after the 'Elections'

Immediately after the 'elections, ' Russian authorities began developing plans for further mobilisation of 300k more troops into the armed forces. They have big plans to try to fight for Kharkiv. However, legacy equipment and lack of training provide for the poor quality of troops.

Recruiting another 300K means they're admitting all the men they already sent are dead. And if Ukraine can whittle them down like they have already done to Russian troops, then what? Will Putin recruit another 300K? Eventually the well runs dry. Ukraine is taking it in the shorts too, but if they can keep the ratio so that Russia runs out of men before they do, Russia loses. Ukraine may not "win" but they will make sure Russia loses.

Any time you require conscription to introduce new troops you are not getting troops that are willing to fight let alone die. These men are not willing at all or they would have volunteered. Note the following: July 18 (Reuters) - Russia's parliament on Tuesday extended the maximum age at which men can be mobilized to serve in the army by at least five years - in the case of the highest-ranking officers, up to the age of 70. Last September, Russia announced its first mobilization since World War Two, calling up more than 300,000 former soldiers in an often-chaotic emergency draft to support its war in Ukraine, a campaign that has been much longer and more attritional than Moscow had expected, and shows no sign of ending. It is already raising the upper age limit for men to be called up for compulsory military service to 30 from 27, and has made it much harder for young men to avoid the draft by dodging recruiters handing out call-up papers. You just heard: reservists and conscripts will be forced to sign contracts. That's almost half right there. They are recruiting in every country imaginable for foreign fodder. They have 20+ PMCs still working in Ukraine, recruiting in prisons, on porn websites, everywhere. And in a country with anything like a healthy population, one should be able to turn 10% of the populace into military personnel. That's 14 million in Ruzzia. Given their issues they may not be able to do that. So maybe they should count on getting 5 million? And 2 million are already accounted for, (still serving or casualties). So, he should get 3,000,000 if he needs them? Doesn't seem like he can. And I doubt he could equip 1,000,000 so they would be at all effective.

I googled "French admit Ukrainian casualties higher than Russian" and I got "It looks like there aren't many great matches for your search" I do get this article en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_Russo-Ukrainian_War which shows how wildly estimates as to both sides' losses vary. The most reliable numbers on the subject seem to say Ukraine has lost 150,000 troops as killed, wounded and prisoners, while the number for Ruzzia is around 350,000.
