@JP if you look directly in front of him at the direction the tracks are pointed you can see where he is eating away at whats in front of him, see the teeth marks! he is then sitting on a bench at about half height to the top of the dig face and to the floor the trucks on, he may be at the end of his dig and starting to go backwards from there or will still be advancing forward. Looking at the ground conditions etc. he may have been swinging a bit further round to deal with a water issue and making a sump or something. No big deal, its a 5 min vid It doesn't have to be a 20m face of material "above him" to be double benching.
