Just wanted to leave this here. The energy sheild produced by the armour is actually quite intense and small spores of the flood do in fact explode on impact. Cause the energy produced is basically microwaving the spores. That's why the flood spores would attack a spartan in a single wave of multiple. Since they have intelligence, they know the shields do lose energy and do need time to regenerate. That is the moment of weakness that allows the slightest of chance. They still need to rip off the armour. Go through the thicc material underneath the armour all the while a spartan with quick reflexes and dauble the strength to crush with just a palm of their hand. That's all. Carrying on!

Spartan IIs were children that had no choice. Spartan IIIs were taken as children, and once they got to their training planet, were asked if they wanted to fight the covenant. IVs were ODSTs and the best marines were asked by spartan III Jun if they wanted to join the IV program

Spartan IIIs were basically cannon fodder: a far more cheap and less costly version of the II, but nowhere near as well trained or effective, and largely deployed for suicide missions and high-risk operations. Additional fun fact: Colonel Ackerson, who is a rival of Dr. Halsey and basically hates her guts, created the Spartan IIIs largely out of spite for her IIs.

Correct in the Spartan II Program Spartan III Program were also Children whose planet had been conquered/glasses by the Covenant and were given the opportunity to become Spartans to take their revenge Normally sent in on suicide mission so very few survived compared to how many that finished training. Spartan IV’s are Volunteer survivors of the III Program and also ANY service member of ANY UNSC Armed Forces.

Spartan Program 1: You we're chosen as an adult in the military, were injected, and trained. Spartan Program 2: Children of age 6&7 were kidnapped, injected, and trained for battles, usually big army battles, also you were in a squad or team. Spartan Program 3 Children of age 6&7 were kidnapped, injected, and trained for near suicide missions or just suicide missions, your solo or group of two to four spartans. Spartan Program 4: You signed up and were trained for all missions and you we're with a squad at all times.

The III project required you to use teamwork above all, Spartan IVs were ex military or chosen from their branches as the fittest but again relied on tech as well as numbers so less tactical but a bigger pool to recruit from with experience and maybe VERY minimal augmentation. The IIIs had a degree of it and were thus taller. But the twos as we all know were augmented into hell. So to recap, twos were kidnaped kids who didnt require anything once finished, IIIs needed teamwork and numbers, little augmentation an the IVs relied on tech, no augmentation (maybe a little) and being ex military. P.s To clarify, I believe both the threes an fours needed numbers above all else.

Spartan III's were also taken as children, but they werent as heavily screened for perfection like halseys spartan II's, they were still selected to be the best, but some had imperfections mentally, or otherwise, that wouldnt have qualified them for halseys program. Spartan IV's were selected from remaining members of the spartan I-III programs and from special forces units in the normal military Edit: Also the elites were every bit as powerful as a Spartan, in some ways even more so, depending on the spartan and elite in question. This is well documented in the books and other sources.

People could argue forever about this, the fact of the matter is PCs are more powerful than consoles, but consoles have more exclusive titles like most of the Halo series or Mario and Pokemon. It doesn't matter what side you're on you have to admit that both sides have their benefits, a console like the Xbox One X is very cheap for being able to play games at 4K 30fps, but you can get a way better experience on a PC with a decent video card that's going to cost you almost twice as much for the card alone. (Usually more if you account for mining prices) Personally I really just like the Xbox for Halo and sometimes Minecraft, it doesn't matter what side you're on I say go consoles and PCs! Edit- oh yeah I forgot to mention you don't have to deal with as many hackers on console games as PC, some day all the lines between console and PC will be blurred beyond the point where you can play anything on either platform! The one thing I find funny about consoles is most consoles use an AMD CPU/chipset with way more cores than you would find on a usual gaming computer that are clocked way lower than even and i5 or a low tier AMD chip. (Not saying AMD is better or worse than Intel in any way, except for budget builds, AMD has a pretty big edge there) I tried to not have a lot of bias for this thing so I hope my comment means something to any of you! :D
