Doing anything to the ECU will void your BMW warranty. My retailer told me that swapping the exhaust system is more than enough, the computer on the bike will sort it out up to 80%, so the flash wouldn't give you much more other than voiding your warranty. This goes for Finland/Estonia in Europe.

I love mine. About 700 miles now. I did heli bars and love the slightly better position. You still need to ride in race pro and set the DCC to 2! Comfort and faster response, plus more exhaust sound. I just need exhaust or at least a slip on

I have also 200bhp bike and riding hard, I would use Michelin R6 if I ride on street/road and whatever how sporty. Never had any issues and they don't need warming up at all. I watched @motojitsu comments about those tyres (he is very aggressive rider on twisties, I have understood ) and that proves my opinion. I remember you had some surprise when tyres were not warm, believe me with R6 it wouldn't have happen. I have had winter riding in UK , summer riding in Central Europe and Northern Europe, never have had better tyres under sportbike( if not 100% trackday rider). On wet and colder asphalt extremely good grip; something I never had before was on German autobahn - I had very hardcore ride (about 500 miles to reach in time to ferry in Germany, a little over 6 hours) and braking by shifting down from about 170 mph I heard tyres were squeaking. Absolutely fabulous tyres, even though no "sport" or "race" or "track" in the name. I am not at all satisfied with Commander 3 tyres on my touring cruiser, which ones I bought from praising in Internet- yes, they last really long, but on colder wet asphalt the grip is not good, have had "surprises" that I don't recommend. I managed somehow because from age 12 on a motorcycle and 36 yrs of experience, but not nice feeling if over 900 pounds weighing full dressed touring cruiser just makes 45 degrees tail wagging on wet asphalt on constant speed. I like Michelin, R6 is something really especial, had R5 too, also I recommended, not too big difference in handling. Commander 3 is ok, but not much difference from Dunlop "Plastic" Elite. My honest opinion, no company buys to me tyres, but I want to stay on the road. I have heard that Avon is better for heavy touring cruisers. I will buy Avon for the next. Sorry John if my honest opinion makes You angry, but I wanted to say that.

As far as the mirrors go, they look great, and price is unbeatable, but for me very hard to see out of them. They don't bend in, so for me in particular it's tough. But they do look great. Can't beat the price.
@j.taveras84472 ай бұрын
The stock are only slightly better. All I do is move my elbow up and see what I need, I had to do similar with the stock ones. On sport bikes there is no great mirror solution, just compromises and for the looks these type offer the best compromise in my opinion.

It's the safest thing to do because if they perform a system upgrade, then it changes the stock ECU setting that you sent to BT, and you have to get a new flash file.

Is less than 3000 miles Typical for a sport bike like that?
@rrydinhigh24523 ай бұрын
There iz NO "typical" for ANY type of "street" bike. It's literally the owners' passion/desire for riding, and the tolerable, yet safe riding conditions(the weather in your "zip" 😜code) to operate a motorcycle, that dictates the mileage accumulated. If you "daily drive" a Lambo, you're gonna accumulate a lot of mileage on your Lambo. Simple.
