Ox na ang training ni Junel bro, kulang na lang proper na recovery. Believe Hector Begeo’s training plan is more on to no pain no gain na approach as ang mileage niya per week unaabot sa 180-200km/week.

@@talkingchinoy4391 Recovery at race day tactic. Factor din yung pagtatakbo as lead runner for the whole race since siya yung nag bi break ng air resistance which can cause fatigue katagalan.

@@wildernessandme1744 I do agree it’s a factor bro, but for this performance of his I’ll commend him. As 2019 his time was 9:32 n DQ pa siya. I’ve followed him and have him a Garmin watch for him to really get to a sub9mins time for this event. Now he’ r reached 8:59, told him na kaya pang ibaba yan.

Kulang pa din sa speed for the last lap bro. Peri knowing Junel, he was able to shave off 20secs from his PB. 8:51 malayo talaga sa makakaya niya bro

Knowing Junel bro, that’s consistent pace which he did. Sub9mins is already an improvement from his previous PB of 20secs

@@bokalboi6074 one factor yun bro but again sa pagkakilala q kay Junel and followed his performance since nagstart siya sa Sea Games, he’s more on to consistent pace compared to tactical an racer wherein d siya naghihintay sa likod. If wala siyang speed n naghintay pa siya sa likod, he could’ve gotten slower time and ended up not breaking his PB. Target was to really run a 9mins flat which is better compared to his previous PB.
