When your resin has become a little too hard to shape it, you can use a heatgun or even a hair dryer to soften it so you can shape it easier. Love the results.

I love this Petra. I think this is what I would like to try for my first attempt. This same idea will work in coaster size molds too correct? I love the one you did before with the light pink and the anthracite too. I got my “just paint” colors to play with!

Wow - this is stunning! If you don't mind a few questions - do you have to wait at all for the resin to thicken like we do when we do the petals for the 3D bloom; can you use alcohol ink instead of the mica powder for the color part; and would using just a round mold create the effect or does it have to be an 'irregular' circumference. Thanks so much!

Thank you very much. I have not really done the combination pigment pasten and alcohol or resin inks. However, I believe you get even a more define result of the triation effect. Of course you can also use a round mold. You normally get the same effect. Just go for it and let me now your result.

What temperature is your resin when you pour the white and silver? I watch all your videos, I really love your work, but you never say anything about the temperature, which can make a lot of difference in the result 😊 thank you

I never take the temperature of the resin. For this technique I poured ca. 10 min after mixing my resin. However, please consider that every resin is different.

How do you not get smudges or finger prints on the mold when it is soft?

It is still soft but so that I can touch it. That's why I do not have finger prints 🩷🩷🩷🩷
