I'm pretty sure that "pattern group i" is pattern group 1... Roman numerals

@@steveeyers5963 It’s all good - Maybe I should refer to them as pattern group numbers? Thinking about it now it seems weird say I or I, I. I guess at least they is a distinction between pattern numbers and pattern groups in the video 😂

Step 13 actually should be an octave lower and a slide up. I see a lot of people get it wrong.

Thank you for the the tutorial. I am having trouble programming the TB-03 to this pattern, every time I clear the pattern and try to add in the rests there is always a note there so all 16 steps have a note. Pattern clear does not seem to be working. I hope this makes sense and I hope you can help. Thanks 🙏

Thomas Brennan do you have the unit in original or step programming mode?

Traxler Music No worries, I sorted it. Changed the machine into step mode and it worked. All programmed in 👍

Time mode is something I need to learn! Hats off to people who use timemode 👍
@zenobibonsai2 жыл бұрын
@@ThomasMatthewEvans No worries.. well heres a tip for you.. 1. Press and hold "Function" and use the value knob to scroll to "Mode" and select "OrG" (original mode) 2. Select the pattern you want to edit 3. Turn "Mode" knob to "Pattern Write" 4. Hit the "Time Mode" button 5. Use the "Tap (Write / Next)" button to view the rests used in a pattern Now im not sure about the TB-303 but the TB-03 actually has 5 Octaves (not including the tuning knob which is +1/-1 octave) The behringer TD-3 and many other clones only have 3 octaves (not including tuning knob) Im in the process of writting a PHP script which will allow you to manually enter all the details of a pattern to back them up.. This is the downside of the Roland TB-303 and TB-03 - you can't back up individual patterns like you can on the Behringer TD-3 which has software so you can edit patterns too. The script will store the following settings: 1. Waveform 2. Notes 3. Octaves 4. Rests 5. Accents 6. Slides I designed this for the purpose of being able to back up patterns and to make it easier for manually transfering patterns from one device to another (example from a Roland TB-03 to a Behringer TD-3) The script also allows you to add a sample for each pattern.. also if you create a perfect 4/4 - 16 step pattern (which is 1 bar) you can then create a "Track" which will stitch together each patterns "Wav" file to give you an idea how the track would sound in the order of the patterns you have selected. PHP cant do this with MP3s or other audio files so i've had to do it with ".Wav" files. The script also has a "Print Friendly" version of the pattern so you can print them out for reference. The script will be called "Acid Tabs" :) Hope this helps

I've heard the TD-3 doesn't have the octave range or is it the programming is different?
@PedroPauloAmorim3 жыл бұрын
@@ThomasMatthewEvans I thinks it's the case, the TD-3 even copies the limitations present in the TB-303 which limits it to 1 octave up. :(
