I hate how everybody is treating this as a "Massive dunk on the Womenfolk"... it's... really not. Basically what this is, is putting into place a layer of government protection to sexwork labor disputes. The theory here is that the 'worker' and 'manager' should have a strong understanding of 'this is what the worker will or will not do' and the worker treats it like any other job... does 'work' within the confines of their 'job description' and the 'manager' doesn't assign 'duties' outside that range without approval from the 'worker'. If the 'worker' has to make a _formal_ "Nope, not doing this" statement 10 times in 6 months, clearly that's a breakdown of the 'worker' / 'manager' relationship, so instead of the 'manager' having heavy-handed influence over the 'worker', instead they get a government-funded / government mandated mediator to hopefully handle this without the 'manager' busting out the pimp-hand. So, it's actually a legit worker-protection law... in theory, anyways. Time will tell how this pans out.
