Thanks Saleh, invoking SATAE SANA SEYABO and all the other transportation companies sent me into a memory lane. The director (il direttore) Sinabara Mohamed and the drivers and mechanics played a big role for the growth of the company. Here is my question: Was SATAE an abbreviation? Thanks!

Happy new year. Yes, it’s an abbreviation but I can’t remember it exactly. Socita (A? )Trasporto (??) Eritreo This is what we published on awate’s Gedan News …. Sunabera Debena Has Died Awate - Gedab News By awate.com's Gedab News - Sep 22, 2008 Mr. Sunabera Debena, an Eritrean national with distinguished record of support for Eritrea’s armed struggle, died on Saturday 9/20/2008. He was in his 80s. Sunabera was one of about a half-a-dozen of elderly Eritreans who were arrested in October 2001 shortly after they attempted to mediate the conflict between two sides of the ruling party, PFDJ. Like his fellow prisoners, he was neither charged, nor found guilty, of any crimes. He was held at the Karsheli prison in Asmara, until his release in March 10, 2004. Due to his confinement, and his advanced age, he never recovered his health and friends and family spoke of a man who was permanently damaged by his incarceration. Background An entrepreneur and socialite, Mr. Sunabera Mohammed Debenna was perhaps best known for his success in building the SATEO Transportation company, one of Eritrea’s first publicly-held companies. In the 1970s, he joined hundreds of thousands of Eritreans and moved to Sudan, where he was known as a friend of the revolution for his generous support. He returned to Eritrea shortly after the country gained its independence in 1991.

Hgdf could have built the railway even by the conscripited service men and women if not in 5 years, maybe 15 years ..But hgdf don't want prosperous eritrea..
ሳልሕ ! ሕግደፍ ኣብ ወታሃደራዊ ዝናኣድ እዩ ። What is the truth behind the success of Eritrean troops? Syria is a good laboratory for every one to observe. Under economic embargo, Syrian economy suffered; Assad could only pay 7 dollars to his soldiers, the Generals were paid 40 dollars, compared to the rebels who are paid 2000 dollars. The Syrian defense could not be sustainable ብፅፍርና!!!! Ethiopian Generals own beer factories- Eritrean Generals don’t afford a beer 🍺 every day; but who is standing at Badme ? Who has political independence? A- Syria B- Ethiopia C-Eritrea D-Sudan F-Kenya G-Somalia ብወታሃደራዊ ብጣእሚ ዝናኣድ እዩ!! Eritrean soldiers-Man of the year Saleh- Journalist of the year Happy 2025
