Waffle Houses are everywhere in Virginia. The only one I actually eat at though is in Walterboro SC off Interstate 95. The wife and I sleep in Walterboro on our way to Florida. We often eat breakfast at Waffle House the next morning.

My wife and I went out for dinner Monday night, and the place we were going to was closed. I asked where else close by she wanted to go. First thing out of her mouth was Waffle House. Cheese steak omelette, side of bacon, hash browns, scattered, smothered (onions), covered (cheese), and chunked (diced ham), and it was killer.

From south georgia, there's like 5 in our city. Weirdly enough the best service I've had at any restaurant by far. Also one 5 min from me got robbed by a dude dressed up as an old woman 😂

I’m from Florida and it’s true about hurricanes. We always joke that we don’t worry about hurricanes until the Waffle House closes. If Waffle House is closed shit just got real. lol
