Hi Tracey, what a great idea, and I love the clock and geodes. That's funny because I was looking through my craft stash today, and came across an old LP. I bought it a couple of years ago - to turn it into a clock! I was wondering how to decorate it, and was thinking of doing a paint pour - but now after watching you, I've changed my mind, and will resin it. I may see what you do with your clock first, and it'll give me an idea of how to go about it. I've never resined before, but recently bought some resin after watching your tutorials. So as someone on OAP I can't afford the courses especially nowdays with the price of groceries & gas!!!!! I guess I'll just stick to what I can do on my own.Supplies are expensive, but things I make are always gifts for family & friends. I'm not in it to make money,just like making things that I think they will appreciate.Congratulations on reaching 10k.

I totally understand. I am retired too, just have a small company penision as I can't claim state pension yet. I earn a little from a couple of days a week working at a museum and the modest income KZbin is making me - and the kindness of the suppliers is making this possible. Without all that I couldn't either. I also give all my makes away - mostly to a children's hospice charity. This is part of the reason I want to look into courses and report my findings. we have to be careful what we invest in nowadays

Well deserved well done xx. I remember julie, pouring your heart out had been on a course for doing i think the fairy flowers. I think she said something about not being allowed to share certain things from the courses she had done. I think part of that was measurements/amounts of products being used. Maybe if you talk with her she may be able to give you some more information x

Congratulations, you are nearly there! Re clocks, I've made quite a few (although not on MDF) and the mechanisms come with different spindle lengths for different thicknesses, which I didn't realise early on, so I've accumulated quite a few mechanisms - something to be aware of if you make more than this one.
