Also struggling. If things could possibly manage NOT to fall on my foot would be a start to not struggling. Hope it gets better for you. I've had inks change colour when left in the sunlight - but I don't think I've seen you do that. The new colour reminds me of Celadon Cat. Love the Mightnight colour and your nails are gorgeous!

Thank you for the kind words! And yeah, sunlight will fade many things! But I suspect few dyes degrade this much in the dark. 😅🤣🥰

I find that Dominant Industries always looks much darker in the bottle than on the page, but the difference between your card and the paper is wild. Your card looks more like Diamine Midnight.

@@blktauna Nah, I'm not going to bother contacting them. Well, if I do it will be as a heads up, and not to seek some sort of remediation. I do like the new color, but it's disappointing when you think you're getting one thing but actually you get another.

Yikes! What the Ink happened!!! Still I don't mind this mottled Great Lake Erie sky at Midnight.My first ink purchase was Diamine Midnight. I love a deep pigmented blue. Hey, I love blue inks. This ink is breen.

That is so crazy how the ink changed color over time! I wonder if someone from the manufacturer might see this and comment on what is going on? LOVE a good mint julep, especially with fresh home-grown mint. Here in Northern Alabama the mint is starting to get really beat-down by the heat so it's not as good as it was a month ago. @@MariaRosseauI totally understand about the hoodie! My wife and I swap out being like that all the time. I'm hot, she's cold, then reverse. The mint hates the heat, once we got thru August it gets its second wind and we'll have NICE, FAT, TASTY mint again!

What's worse, bad ink or a bad drink. Your nails are a very nice touch, can you imagine going to a Pen Show with not only matching pen + ink but, dress, shoes, hat, bag, automobile, and luggage. A real fashion statement, don't let the faded ink get you down. 😮

I haven’t messed with mine in a while but this is very similar to Witch by starlight, and I’ve had my witch by starlight lean this color, at least after being in the pen a while - I think whatever is in these 2 inks just changes colors. I’ll try to remember to play with them later when I’m home, but I’ve seen this happen

Yeah, it's sort of unfortunate. I used Witch by Starlight in April and it stayed the same color up until now, but that's not too long. 😅

I have this ink in bottle form and mine looks like the darker, bluer version. I never had a Dominant Industry ink that changed color. As long as the pen keeps writing, I would keep the ink, if I were you.... after all it still looks nice.

@@MariaRosseau I checked it today - mine is still dark. But I do not have it that long (maybe a couple of months) and I also have not written with it much (bottle is almost full). But for sure, this is the next bottle, that I will working on emptying now.

The darker splat seems to agree with Manda B's 30inks30days of Nov 2022 and the color shown on cult pens. Looks sort of like Sunrise in the same DI/cult pens line.

I think I have sunrise and it's not really that similar in person. It's a shame when an ink does this. 😞

This week looks like a rainbow flag 🏳️‍🌈! You’re right about Anderillium. I had the same issue with the blue sample I received. It was a “fugitive” ink. I much prefer the original color on the Coloring card. See you tomorrow for the last day of 30 inks!

K I just checked mine and it looks more blue too. And my Witch By Starlight looks a little more like what I remember Midnight to be. Dude....I'm so confused right now... 😑😣

Oh and mine wasn't exposed to light. It was in its box in one of the dods (drawers of denial😂) so has to be the dye in it as you surmised. It's gotta be.🤷🏻‍♀️

@@MariaRosseau So true though! 😂 I have no business buying anymore bottles of ink. EVER. But you know, we evolve and there are some inks I may have found interesting when I got them but know I'll likely never use again. I really REALLY need to destash. It's on my 'to do' list but come the weekend, I'm just too exhausted after working a 57-hour week.😑 I have some PTO coming up soon so maybe that'll be one of the things I can check off my list.🤔
