I think the slower pace is much better, because you have the chance to enjoy the ink in the process much more. Lovely pairings as always 😍

The spread and the colors together look so satisfying. I love all your videos and I especially love that you bend the rules so they work for you.

I found if I squish the bag so it is bunched up, i get very interesting ink blots. I haven't tried doing a line of ink to spread like you do.
@KarynaLovesToPlan16 күн бұрын
Yes! Squishing the bag and wrinkling it up is the best way to get the interesting blobs!

So it’s not just my Kaweco that seems dry. I feel a little better. Not that I want you to have a terrible experience….just that it’s confirmation that I’m not imagining it. Haha.

Haha yeah my EF feels dry but the Medium had good flow!

Very nice and definitely inspiring, thank you. May I ask where you got the cutter for making the little paper rectangles? Also, which onion skin paper do you use?
@KarynaLovesToPlan14 күн бұрын
Here's an Amazon link to the square cutter amzn.to/3Cq39Fe. I'm not sure of the exact brand of onion skin paper as it was given by a friend, but I bought more onion skin paper from Yamamoto at the SF Pen Show.

@@KarynaLovesToPlan : Thank you! I especially enjoyed the way you incorporated the multiple papers by using the cutter and did the Zentangle pieces so fluently. I will be studying those.

Do you have an example of how you use the ink blobs in your journal? Do you write between the inky blobs or put stickers? I'm used to see acetate or cling foil being used with inks, watercolour, water based pens etc so the crumbly plastic bags you use is a nice variation. I liked this new take on 15 inks. Take your time and enjoy the swatching process in your own pace. 😇💜🙏🙌

very glad there are channels like yours that puts use a load of ink just for swatches so I won't have to! haha. Greed looks nice, quite like FWP Age of Aurum that is currently my favorite ink.

I would love it if you could identify whether the inks are waterproof or not… I know some of the inks dry well and are less smeary, but a lot of inks really are not suitable for journals.
@KarynaLovesToPlan12 күн бұрын
@@SandyBanks-vk5dl inks that are waterproof will be labelled permanent or document. I use all the pretty inks in my journals, regardless of whether they are waterproof or not. Most of the inks here are not waterproof.
