Im on my growing my hair out healthy, thick, and long journey since I have been dealing with alopecia. Listen I just got my shipment today and I ran to Shampoo my hair even though I clean my hair yesterday. I was able to do an amazing wash and go with this line and it's super defined without any frizz. I used the Shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and the extra creamy hair cream.. You did a great job with this video. I am a repeat ulta shopper so I got my products during black Friday time. I saw it was a black product and the prices were great at the time. I have locs and I use the leave-in conditioner, hair cream and the cream oil. It gives my retwist a great hold along with a great shine. I am definitely sold on the hair care line. I use the drops in between the retwists. Go get it it's a must have to your hair regimen.

But your hair has curly definition already. Your twistout results will not be mine. Also, re using the product for mid week refreshing: Like you said, water is moisture and the product has water probably as the 1st ingredient, so the product does moisturize!

So yes my hair is curly when wet and when I do my wash day a certain way but I need a good product or combination for it to stay curly and for my twist outs to set properly. Good morning! Thank you!! I’ve always been natural but my hair hasn’t always been as long or healthy as it was in this video. For a while I had damaged shoulder length hair until I cut it into a short blunt cut (like right below my ears) in about 2010 and then I’ve grown it and cut it on and off ever since. My hair grows at a consistent rate naturally but what I struggle with is length retention. What works for me retaining length is being consistent with my routine (every week or every other week) and if I can’t be consistent at least keeping my hair moisturized and stretched (like you saw me switch to in the video). Donna’s recipe keeps my hair moisturized so it helps with my length retention. I haven’t been consistent with their oils or vitamins though but my friends who have been consistent swear by them. Hopefully I answered your question but let me know if you have any more

I wash my hair weekly so I only bought the creamy cream. I use low neutral scents in my hair. I just can't imagine smelling sweet potato pie shampoo. I will see if that smell dissipates quickly.

It’s a very sweet smell that does linger a bit but it isn’t strong the whole time. The shampoo and conditioner actually have a milder smell than the leave in and cream (it just smells sweet and yummy). Let me know how you like the cream

@@CurlsofaCPA Definitely the leave in for sure & the shampoo/conditioner to go along with it. I’m not a butter girl bc they are usually too heavy for my hair. It looked like it worked great on your low porosity hair though.

Some people use bond builders like Olaplex or Curlsmith bond salve to help bring it back to life or protein treatments like aphogee or milder protein treatments like the Pattern treatment mask or elasticity treatments. Ultimately cutting it is the easiest but you can kind of transition if you aren’t ready to cut it and you may be able to nurse some of your strands back to health. If you’re increasing the amount of protein you’re using remember to incorporate moisture so your hair can be balanced. Example if if I use the Pattern treatment mask I have to use a moisturizing conditioner or deep conditioner after it. It’s also important to follow instructions with these products too. I hope this helps but let me know if you have any follow up questions

@@CurlsofaCPA Thank you, I used the 2 step Aphogee treatment. It left my hair very soft some heat damage in the back that I will try and nurse and trim a little until it’s no signs of damage.
