Instead of wearing a plain black shirt with your summer trousers. Wear a plain shirt, tie it in a knot right above your belly button to turn it into a crop top and voila.
If you find your summer dress too short, you can wear a pair of jeans on top of it.
You can also wear a sweater on top of your maxi summer dress and then secure it in place with a belt.
Instead of wearing a very short crop-top with your jeans. Keep your crop top but wear a white shirt on top and then tie it in a knot right above your waist.
