I could not watch you paint all day... that goes for anyone. But watching for a few hours.... you're near the top of the list... But for real, I do appreciate your normal speed brush strokes as I like to see what the bristles are doing, how much paint you hang on to them, how hard/soft you apply the brushes to the canvas, etc... This is something you do well and more than other on-line-teachers who don't do so often as I like. There's your prize. Thank you...good video.

Michael I have seen this before but I could watch you paint all the time. The way you put the detail together. It is like you could wade through that bright light through the trees. Watching you makes me want to grab my paints and get painting. Thank you for giving us your tips so we could use in our work. Have a great day

Thanks, Michael for your videos. I have had trouble with trees my entire career as an artist. You have helped me so much. Now my trees look 3D and real, like a photo. I'm still working and will always be improving my skills. I can't tell you how these videos have helped. You are very good at teaching and you are very easy to follow. Again, Thanks

I think I'm stunned, in awe, at just how good you are. I see no one else on KZbin including the amount of detail you do or achieve the extent of realism you do. I watch a lot of different artists but you are the one I want to, and am trying to emulate. I bought from Rosemary & Company three of the brushes and one you designed and it is just excellent. That was keen insight on your part. I just don't have the money, at age 70 and on limited fixed income, to afford the wonderful materials you do. If I had the money I'd paint up a storm in my few remaining years. I've experienced enough to see that while personal technical expertise makes one a better artist, the brushes do make a difference, as do the paints and the substrate. I admire you Michael and think you're one of the world's best.

Positively the best videos I've ever seen. The patience with which he paints the leaves is truly amazing. I can remember watching Bob Ross taking those huge brushes and tapping away to give a foliage look to the trees and bushes. Quick & easy, but no where near as beautiful as Michael's method. Slow and steady!

Michael, you are fantastic. I watch you so much hoping my brushes will do what yours do, BUT they don't. You also are hilarious and bring me a smile. I think it is in the "eye". You just see it all so wonderfully - the colors, shapes etc. I try not to get discouraged and figure if I watch you enough, some of it may sink in!!! Thanks much mate! Marge from Toledo, Ohio USA

this clip is done very well . The artist does a magnificent job showing how to paint, magnificently. I will do technique this to finish my Central Park landscape.I've done 2 four hour sittings in the roasting hot NYC this month. Now I've spent many studio hours on it. I want to go back to the site, and almost paint notes to finish it in the studio ( Using my newly learn foreground tree painting technique .

I would love seeing you make other types of landscapes, with other features taking stage such as cliffs or other types or trees, mayhaps heather tangle strewn across the ground or such, a mountainous hillside with boulder ridges and more chillyness contrasting the warmth of vegetation. Your touch of detail would make any landscape astonishing, i'm sure. Absolutely lovely work today, your lush pictures always lends such a comfortable feeling.
