#31. The indomitable Andy Grant

Our most recent guest, Andy Grant, has lived many lives; an Iraq and Afghanistan War Veteran, a former Royal Marine Commando of 6 and a half years, an amputee, father, partner, and Motivational Speaker.
While serving with the marines, Andy was critically injured when a trip wire attached to 2 IEDs was triggered by the lead man. On the 25th of November 2010, aged only 22, Andy chose to have his right leg amputated, just below the knee.
Refusing to be defined by that moment, Andy recently competed in the Invictus Games, coming away with two Gold Medals in 400m and 1,500m Men's Ambulant IT1.
Since being medically discharged from the Royal Marines, Andy have travelled the world delivering motivational talks and has become the fastest single leg amputee on the planet over 10km with a time of 37:17.
