Ways to improve retirement planning - create your plan for happy and prosperous retirement.
I really want to start this New 2022 Year on a positive note and what is better than going over steps how you can improve your retirement planning or any financial planning for that matter.
Originally this video started with 9 steps, but once I started thinking about it, all those ideas and suggestions came rushing through my head and I thought, what a great way to slowly improve step by step your planning system.
Some of the ideas listed, I have already covered in parts in my previous videos, so I will link them all for you, others might be a short information, but some could be a totally new idea for a completely new video.
So today our topic is: "31 ways how you can improve your retirement planning", or as I said before, any financial planning, regardless of your stage of life. As the number has grown from 9 to 31, I will divide this list between two videos, not to make this one too long, so please return next week for Part 2 of our today's video.
1. Save enough
2. Understand your longevity
3. It is never too late to start planning
4. Make your decision rationally
5. Prioritise your own needs
6. Don't leave money in the bank
7. Don't carry debt into retirement
8. Don't retire too early
9. Invest well in growth assets
10. Do not chop and change your investment strategy
11. Do not participate in panic withdrawals
12. Don't try to chase historical performance
13. Stay away from timing the market
14. Diversify, diversify, diversify...
15. Always include fun in your budget

Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth. I’m 50 and my wife 44 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. Saving and investing lifestyle made it possible for us this early even till now we earn monthly through passive income. Thanks to fire movement. ..

Glad I came across this comment section. I was struggling to decide what to do with a good amount of money in the bank doing nothing. I would be happy if you could advise me, as I am ready to go the passive income path.

@@eadad4371 Alright so generally, investing requires higher knowledge. For this reason, It's important to have a solid support structure (financial consultant) to guide you through especially in asset picking. I operate with (REGINA LOUISE COLLARO) an investment advisor who partners with a licensed wealth management firm. For the record, the experience has been the best for my finance. She is quite popular for her services so you might have heard of her. She made me financially stable investing through her help, now I earn on a monthly basis through her passive income strategy...So I’ll advise you do get a good Investment advisor for yourself.

@@davidforesto You are right, I am one of many who has benefited from investing with Regina Louise Collaro. 2020 is an unforgettable year in my life, back then I lost my job due to covid and had no reason to live. Regina made a good life possible for me through passive income and I owe her my life. To be honest, I feel like she is an angel of who was sent to help those who are suffering financially.

We have money in a bank that is earned from our company (husband and wife owners). We are investing some but keeping some in a bank account because in a few years as we retire this money will be our income. The company pays a lower tax than if we earned it ourselves. Is that ok? What else can we do to maximise our earnings?

I am an investor who takes advantage of volatile share market movements. I do hold saving in a bank for that new water heater or car repair but most of my money is "parked" in shares and share indexes. The GFC and recent Covid movements were great for me financially as I was able to move parked money to new opportunities in both cases and the profits were substantial. Love your channel. Subscribed and always liked.
