Ha! Back when I had a boat at the local marina, I used to tell my wife I had to go to "check on it" whenever there was a rainstorm. But in reality I used to enjoy taking a nap on it listening to the rain. Something about sleeping on a boat.

That has to be by far the best mid-cabin I've seen on a sub-40 footer yet, amazingly well configured and appointed, and all the windows and portholes really keep it light and airy as well. Keeping all of the social/utility areas on the upper deck really works well to make more room for accommodation on the lower deck.
