3100 dmg with VK 30.02 D | World of Tanks

This is my favorite T7 tank. It is very mobile, has a very nice DPM and ramming lights is putting a smile on your face every time you do so. The biggest problem is probably just that it's a T7 tank and you have to deal with a lot of T8.5 premium tanks like the Borat, Progetto M35 or Škoda T56... and the gun is trolling you sometimes.

@@t.va.6611 I absolutely hate it. Its gun is so bad, you most of the time need to spam gold. Armor can occasionally bounce something and mobility is okay

Just a piece of personal note: this tank is a DPM machine AND an absolute RAMMER! you can actually demolish lt at start of battle and still retreat and play as normal mt.

panther is better in almost every aspect apart from dpm (even so its literally like 50 dpm difference) I don't see why you would get something that has a gun requiring gold to use and unreliable armour over something with trollish armour on the turret and amazing ramming capabilities.

Great gameplay Baboon! I used my little tier 5 BDR to get 3100 dmg this morning and had 6 kills, but I only got a Class 1. I think the last time I got an Ace Tanker in it was when I killed the entire enemy team(10). You make it look so easy and I'm working my butt off to keep my 3,174 WN8 for a thousand battles. Today my WN8 was 5,130, but I know that'll come down tomorrow. I can't keep a score like that very long because I'm still a noob with only two years playing! I'm not very consistent, but I'm very aggressive and persistent! Lots of us old retired Marines are like that!

I think this is definitely one of the most underrated tanks in the game. I preferred it immensely to the Panther since it has far better mobility, armor and a punchier gun which makes it a great brawler. Great games!

I really would like to like the panther but it is pretty bad and panther II is pure crap. Almost unplayable.

the Short .88 is the most abused gun in the game with regards to RNG... period. I have played all the German tanks with it since 8.7 and the slow shadow nerf of the gun has just been sad. Still, when it hits and pens, it is dangerous.

I don't know about anyone else, but sometimes I'll check out a player's service record if they had a good game against my team. I ran across a player that had like a 6k damage record in this tank. In fact, they had crazy damage records in every single vehicle that they've played. I just couldn't imagine how good you have to be, or the conditions that would allow that high of a damage game in a tier 7 medium.

Did 4400 today in the first battle. But the gun was performing well, shots went in without fully aiming. Getting worst now.

I think these three games really showed the full gambit of this vehicle. In the first game the gun showed its tempramental side, though you could still get damage in by using the mobility. In the second game it behaved and there was plenty of room to move around, leading to a good result. And in the third, the gun was behaving okay, but there was no room to move and you could see the lack of armour. I think this is a fine tier VII medium, but because it has German Accuracy (WG TM), it can be somewhat inconsistent, which is a shame.

Mate, you should go with a full ramming setup including crewskills with this tank! it is a absolute monster! 100%ing skorpion (VII) and Kittycats (VII) with ease. as long you do not ram the super heavy tanks that is!

I play this with the 75 42, far better gun. Lower alpha but slightly higher pen, much higher shell velocity and accuracy. Its a sniper, lock down tracks and go to town.

I just got this thing, I played it way back but I think it was a tier 6 not tier 7. I get it because i want to get to leopard 1. but this thing is really good. DPM great, damage great, pen is not good but ok for top tier game. armor is great, low tier really bounce and struggle to pen you. aiming is so so because no vert stabs...but yea it is a surprise, i plan to finish some MT obj 260 missions with this thing now.

Yay finally showed the VK 30.02D Mine has a 60% win rate and almost 3K games, i have so many kamikaze medals with this tank! Ram damage to like 800 or 900 makes killing tanks much faster! Has trollish armour, ive blocked gold rounds on the hull from skorpion g!!!! This is a better tank i think than the panther, the gun dispersion is the only let down on this tank, but equipment can fix that

I prefer vk3002db than panther. Panther is too slow and it’s gun trolls a lot (yes RNG balance). Although vk3002db now needs a lot of gold rounds due to current power creep.

So its std pen is basically the same as the tier 6 Cromwell and worse prem pen but higher alpha. Got it

it works better with the 7.5cm gun, more accurate, better pen, much better gun handling and the rate of fire can permatrack people.
