For what it's worth, I cast a simple knot in the middle of a length of kitchen twine and used the knot to pull the inner lever part using both ends of the twine as I inserted the handle. Then when the handle was in, I pulled in just the one end and the twine pulled through the knot and out of the handle

Thus helps but the the my handle broke the frount part of the plastic broke off so the part not on the key side is still inside

To replace mine i had to remove the door panel there was a slide clip holding onto a broken piece wasn't exactly the plug and play way as shown in the video
